The Red Planet

Space

6792.38km in size and 228 million km away, the next frontier of land mass revolves slightly slower than here on Earth. Mars. The red planet is the nearest planet to us, and likely the next planet to accommodate human life, should we be successful in making it a bit less harsh to our demanding humanoid forms. Would be nice to free ourselves of the illusion of limited teritory - as that has caused quite a lot of unnecessary strife on our silly little planet.

Mars is known to have water - not even a tenth of what we have on our blue planet, but better than nothing which we can assume the other six planets in our solar system have (until we learn otherwise of course).

The largest mountain in our solar system, Olympus Mons, is situated on the red planet as well, 25km high, and about three times the height of Mount Everest, a daring monolith reaching towards the infinite of space

Should we visit the red planet in my lifetime? I don't know. But it's nice to dream.
