Curiouser and curiouser

"If you meet the Buddha on the road, kill him.", Linji Yixuan would famously tell his students. This koan would boggle their minds, as they believed the path to true enlightenment would be complete should they meet the one whom they would follow.

Violent imagery aside, sometimes one can follow a line of inquiry and find something that looks like an answer. But the answer is just a mirage. There is no ultimate solution to the problem of existence - if you would define it as such.

Deep and down, and deep into the rabbit hole I go. "Curiouser and curiouser", cried Alice. "Backward, forward, outward, inward, Bottom to the top, Never a beginning, There can never be a stop".
