Some might say that the entire world is contrast. It's hard to know what is until you know what isn't.
Light is the absence of dark, and dark, the absence of light.
Most if not everything in the world works that way.
An apt example of such contrast can be found in the two movies released on July 21st 2023. Barbie and Oppenheimer.
The former being a very bright and vibrant world of glitz and glamour and the latter being a dark, gritty tale of a complicated man who comes to terms with the reality of the destruction caused by his creation.
I have not seen either movie yet, but the lead-up to their release saw its fair share of memes referencing the contrast between the two films.
This goes to show how intriguing the concept of difference and contrast is and how the differences between things shouldn't always clash, but sometimes make each other stand out even more!
